The objective of the project was to cerate an intuitive
and engaging interactive experience. This experience
must solve the social problem of educational inequality.
Research and identifying key issues that could be solved
are key. I had to design an interactive user experience.
The traditional classroom setting deos not accomodate for
hearing impared students. Only 30-40% of the English
language is distinguishable by lipreading. Impaired
students experience far more challenges in the classroom
settting than non impaired students.
There are multiple problems for the hearing impaired that people are not aware of. Fluorescent lights emit frequencies that interfere with hearing aids. Teachers may user words that the students is unfamiliar with, and participating in class discussions if the person is not directly in front of you is also a challenge.
